Asheville Regional Airport (AVL)                    

Asheville Transit operates Route S3 from the airport to
downtown Asheville.  Buses run at 90 minute intervals from
6:08am until 7:38pmpm, every day except Sunday.  No Sunday
service.  The ride to downtown takes 30 minutes, and the ride
back takes 50 minutes.  Route S3 goes through Biltmore Village
before it ends at the transit station where other routes can
be caught to go to other parts of the city.  Fare is $1.00.  For

Apple County Transit also serves the airport with The Link.  
The Link connects the airport with the towns of Fletcher and
Hendersonville.  The Link operates Monday through Friday
from 7:00am until 6:00pm, arriving and leaving the airport on

The bus stop is to the left as you leave the terminal, at the end of the terminal, just beyond check-in and ticketing.
