Buffalo Niagara Falls International Airport (BUF)

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority
(NFTA-Metro)
has four routes that serve the airport.  

Route 204 (Airport-Downtown Express) operates
Monday through Friday sporadically from 6:23am until
5:19pm.  Wait times are between 30 minutes to almost
two hours.  Be sure that the bus is going downtown
as this route operates in two directions.  The fare for
this route is $2.50.

Route 24 connects the airport to downtown and the
Amtrak station.  This bus operates from 4:44am until
11:48pm, about every 30 to 40 minutes Monday
through Friday, from 6:21am until 11:51pm every 30
to 40 minutes on Saturdays, and from 6:56am until

11:52pm every 45 to 60 minutes on Sundays.  
Longer wait times in the evenings all days.   Fare is $2.00.

Route 68 is an express bus to downtown, but it only operates once a day, at 6:56am, Monday through Friday.  
This bus also goes to the Amtrak station.  Fare is $2.00.

Route 27 goes away from downtown to Cheektowaga and Wende.  It operates twice in the morning and two to
three times in the evening, seven days a week.  Fare is $2.00.

To get to
Niagara Falls, take Route 204, 24, or 68 and transfer to Route 40.  Ask the driver where to transfer.  

All day passes are available on all routes for $5.00.  Check the schedule before using the bus at
www.nfta.com or
call 716-855-7211.  Pick up bus the bus on the lower level to the left as you leave the terminal.  Bus stop is
before the covered roadway.
