BELIZE CITY PHILIP S.W. GOLDSON INT'L AIRPORT (BZE) There is a private bus that serves the airport on an infrequent basis. It is primarily for use of airport employees. It goes to Ladyville, only a few miles away. To catch the bus, go left out of the terminal to the bus shelter located near the road entrance to the airport. However, the best thing to do it take a cab into the town of Ladyville (which should cost around US$5), and catch a bus along the Northern Highway, which will take you to the center of Belize City. Of course, ask the driver where he is going before entering. Buses in Belize are small minivans and cost from US$1 or US$2 to go anywhere. Updated February 18, 2009 |
