CHARLESTON (SOUTH CARIOLINA) INT'L AIRPORT (CHS)
Charleston Area Regional Transit
Authority (CARTA) serves the airport
on Route 11 (Dorchester/Airport). It
connects the airport to downtown
Charleston at the corner of Meeting
and Mary, where transfers to other
lines can be made. Route 11 operates
hourly from 6:52am to 9:52pm Monday
through Friday (no bus at 8:52pm),
7:52am to 9:52pm hourly on Saturdays
(no bus at 8:52pm), and once every
two hours from 9:52am to 7:52pm on
Sundays, on the odd numbers hours.
Fare is $1.25, and an all-day pass is CARTA Bus in historic Charleston
$4.00. Transfers are free, and you
must ask the driver for one when you first get on the bus. For information, go to
