DES MOINES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (DSM) Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) has Route 8 that stops at the airport entrance. To get to the stop, exit the terminal near the rental cars and walk to Fleur Road. Just follow the airport exit road to the intersection of Fleur Road, about a 5 to 10 minute walk. The stop is at the corner. The bus only goes downtown four times a day, at 2:25pm, 3:25pm, 4:27pm, and 5:25pm. The bus goes southbound four times a day as well, at 6:33am, 7:03am, 7:53am, and 8:58am. Ask the driver during these times how to get downtown or transfer. Fare is $1.75 and transfers to local buses are free. More information at www.ridedart.com or call 515-283-8100.
