Airport Public Transit Directory

NEWARK LIBERTY INT'L AIRPORT (EWR)

AirTrain Newark connects all terminals
at the airport to Newark Airport Rail
Station.  Cost is $5.50, and be sure
to keep your ticket with you at all times
(terminal to terminal rides are free).
Once at the rail station, you can
purchase tickets on NJ Transit to get
into Newark, Manhattan, or just about
anywhere you need to go.  Amtrak
also stops at this station.

Four NJ Transit bus routes serve the

airport as well.  Route 107 connects
the airport with the Port Authority Bus
Terminal in Manhattan, Newark, Irvington, Maplewood, and South Orange.  It
operates from about 5:30am to 1:00am, half hourly during the week, hourly on
weekends.  This is a great option to get to downtown New York City.  Route 67
serves Toms River, Lakewood, Dover Township, and Freehold Boro.  Schedule is
sporadic, so check the NJ Transit web site for up to date information.  Route 62
operates 24 hours a day and connects the airport with Penn Station Newark every 15
minutes, less frequently late nights and weekends.  Route 37 serves Lyons Ave and
ends in Maplewood.  It operates from 6:00am (6:45am weekends) to midnight daily,
about every 45 minutes.  For more information on these routes, go to
www.njtransit.com or call 800-772-2222.
