KANSAS CITY INT'L AIRPORT (MCI) Map Your Route Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) runs buses between the airport and downtown's Main Transit Plaza on route 129x (I-29 Express). It operates weekdays from 5:32am to 6:53pm, every hour from 9:30am to 3:30pm, half hourly or every 15 minutes the rest of the day. Some trips are non-stop, while others make a few stops along the way. No service Saturday, Sunday, or holidays. The bus picks up and drops off in front of terminal C only.
