MANCHESTER BOSTON REGIONAL AIRPORT (MHT) The Manchester Transit Authority (MTA) operates Route 3 (Brown Ave / Airport) that connects the airport to downtown Manchester at Veteran's Park. The bus operates every hour from 5:48am until 5:48pm Monday through Friday, and hourly from 8:48am until 4:48pm on Saturday, with no service on Sunday. Transfers to other routes can be made at Veteran's Park. Fare is $1.00. More information at www.mtabus.org or call 603-623-8801. The Manchester Airport also operates the Manchester Shuttle, connecting the airport with locations around the Boston area. It departs the Manchester airport every 2 hours, day and night, at the top of the even hours (12, 2, 4,...). It makes two stops, first at the Anderson Regional Transit Center at Exit 37C off Interstate 93, and the Sullivan Square Metropolitan Boston Transit Authority subway station. Sullivan Square is on the Orange Line and is convenient to downtown Boston. To verify the schedule, see the return times, and for detailed drop off locations, check out their web site at www.flymanchester.com/transportation/shuttle_service.php or call 603-624-6539, ext 324. The service is free, but you must show an airline ticket, boarding pass, or printed itinerary to board. Updated December 21, 2007 |
