NEW ORLEANS LOUIS ARMSTRONG INT'L AIRPORT (MSY)

Jefferson Transit (JeT) offers bus service to downtown New Orleans on route E-2,
Airport Downtown Express.  Pick up the bus on the top level outside of Delta ticketing
on the outside island.  Buses run about every 40 minutes from 5:30am (6:30am on
weekends) until 9:20pm.  Fare is $1.
10 to go into New Orleans.  The bus is not
actually an express, it makes stops in Jefferson Parish.  Allow about 40 minutes to
get into New Orleans.  The bus stops at Tulane and Carrollton, just inside Orleans
Parish.  You will then have to connect to New Orleans RTA bus 39, which will drop
you off at Canal Street at Elks Place, at the northwest corner of the French Quarter.

are for the RTA bus is $1.25, and transfers from the JeT cannot be used, as they
are two different bus companies.  More information about

Street are in walking distance of the bus stop.  RTA bus 27 (connection also
available at Tulane and Carrollton) goes into the Garden District down Louisiana.
