PROVIDENCE T.F. GREEN AIRPORT (PVD)
Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) offers quick bus service between the
airport and downtown Providence (Kennedy Plaza). Four bus routes serve the
airport, routes 20, 12, 14 and 66, with the maximum wait time between buses at about
a half hour. Most of the day, the wait is 15 minutes or less. Service runs from
6:00am until 12:14am (11:00pm on Saturdays, 9:39pm on Sundays and holidays),
with lesser frequency on weekends and holidays. For the Convention Center,
Providence Place, Dunkin Donuts Center, or the Westin Hotel, use routes 12, 14 or
66. To pick up the bus, walk to the outer island and go left. The bus stop is marked
by a sign. Fare is $1.50, transfers are 10 cents. For more information, go to
