Providence T.F. Green International Airport (PVD)

Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) offers quick bus service between the airport and downtown
Providence (Kennedy Plaza).  Two bus routes serve the airport, routes 14 and 20, with the maximum wait time
between buses at about a half hour.  Most of the day, the wait is 15 minutes or less.  Service runs from 6:00am
until 11:00pm (10:25pm on Saturdays, 7:55pm on Sundays and holidays), with lesser frequency on weekends
and holidays.  Route 14 is the fastest bus going downtown (Kennedy Plaza).  Route 14 also goes to Narragansett
and Newport, so be sure you are on the bus going the direction you need to go.  At Kennedy Plaza, transfers can
be made to other bus routes and to the train station going to South Boston.  To pick up the bus, walk to the outer
island and go left.  The bus stop is marked by a sign.  Fare is $2.00, transfers are 50 cents, and a day pass is
$6.00.  For more information, go to
