Airport Public Transit Directory

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO (SJU)

The Metropolitan Bus Authority provides two bus routes that serve the airport.  Route
B40 goes from the airport to the Rio Piedras transit station, where transfers can be
made to buses going to other parts of the city.  To go to downtown or Old San Juan,
transfer to the M, ME, or A9 bus.  Route C45 connects the airport to Iturregui to the
south, and Loiza to the east, using the highway along the coast.  Buses are
supposed to operate about every 20 minutes between 6:00am and 10:00pm daily.
Fare is 75 cents.  I recommend confirming the bus schedule with tourist information
upon arrival.  Contact 787-724-1065 for more information.  The Spanish language
web site is
