SAN PEDRO AIR STRIP, AMBERGRIS CAYE, BELIZE (SPR)

While there is no public
transportation on Ambergris
Caye, the airport is in the heart
of the town of San Pedro. Hotels
and hostels within the town are in
easy walking distance from the
airport. If your resort or hotel is
outside of the downtown, a cab
should only cost about $5.00 to
go anywhere on the island. If you
need to go to the north side of
the island, the fare may be higher.
For day trippers, just plan to walk
around downtown and enjoy the
sites and sounds of this small town.              The town of San Pedro (to the left) is within
