NEWBURGH STEWART INT’L AIRPORT (SWF) Leprechaun Lines, a private bus operator, currently connects the airport to the Beacon Rail Station of the Metro North Railroad. The Metro North goes to Grand Central Station in Manhattan where connections to other trains, buses and subways can be made. Buses operate every one to two hours from 6:10am until 10:20pm weekdays, 8:12am until 9:57pm on the weekends. No bus service on major holidays. Fare is $1.00 for the bus and $15.25 for peak travel times, or $11.50 for off-peak times on the Metro North.
